The Animal… 11 authors of dark fiction from the Edge and Forsaken imprints of Booktrope. A marriage made in Hell, you might say.

Human savagery. Brutality. Depravity.

My short story “Stray” is a part of this twisted anthology. Sheri Williams, who writes in many genres, is another writer among our brood. I asked her a few questions. Her answers were refreshingly candid.

1. What is your publishing mantra?

World domination. Does that count? I just want to write books that people want to read. That means, three different genres/age ranges and two writing names.

2. If you could meet any one author from the past who would it be? What would you ask them?

Alice Carroll no doubt. I have been an Alice fangirl since I was a child. And it is so different than anything else he ever did, I’m curious why. What made that story about those little girls so important.

3. What pushes you though your moments of doubt?

My writing peers, my hubs who has complete faith in me, my daughters, a ridiculously large amount of coffee and chocolate.

4. Who do you aspire to be when you grow up?

Someone my girls look up to. Although I’m not sure I ever really want to grow up…

5. What is next for you?

Another anthology, Bewitching Desires, which is PN Romance. My first ePenny Dreadful, The Forest of Blood. And then..who knows.

BIO: Sheri Williams is an author who suffers from self diagnosed Author Multiple Personality Disorder. She started writing Romance, sweet and sexy, and has since started Gothic Horror, with a side project in Psychological Horror.
